Living with a heart condition: cold hands - a newbie
hi , this is my first post...
i am 59 and had a heart attack on 3rd feb and a double bypass on 24th Feb.
i was discharged 5 days later and have been active since discharge.
i was quite fit before and have been able to walk and now bike over the last 7 weeks.
i have now biked 3x20k and 1x40k and have always kept within my permitted 125 bpm as suggested by my cardio physio.
so for me the recovery seems to be going well and hopefully will continue ??
i am on
and thyroxine of 175.... i have been on thyroxine for about 30 years
the only real issue i have is very cold hands..... i have always had very warm hands so this is a suprise ..... truly if i have to put up with that then so be it as I realise i have been very lucky !!!
any suggestions about dosage to help with the cold ? is this a temporary problem?? as i realise its very early days
my doctor misdiagnosed me 5 times so am loathe to trust them now
