Our community was built with you in mind, without all of our members there wouldn’t be a community.

Anything you post will be published right away, Roberto and Kate our Community Managers and other BHF experts helping us to make sure that nothing offensive or medically wrong is published on our community.

If you do spot anything which you think is wrong or are offended by any posts or comments, you can report these to the community manager by clicking the report button which appears next to every single post on the community.

Moderating our community this way means that you can post and interact with each other 24 hours a day, all year round.

It does also mean that there may be times where some posts are up on our site before we can moderate them. As soon as we see something inappropriate we will take action.

While BHF community managers, staff and experts are here to support you and answer your questions, please don’t post any urgent health enquiries. If you have an urgent health issue call 999 or NHS direct (Telephone: 0845 4647). If you would like to have a chat with a cardiac nurse or heart health adviser please call our Heart Helpline on 0300 330 3311, open Monday to Friday from 9 to 5pm.

We want to make sure that the community is a welcoming and fun place for you to be a part of so you can also help us to keep the community fun and friendly by following our dos and don’ts.
