Symptoms: Unknown heart condition that is bothering me a lot.
Hello I am 28 years old white male and I take no medications, since about 11 years ago I started having palpitations with dizziness and weakness I never fainted, after rolling on many cardiologists who only said it was anxiety, my mom got tired and paid for an ecocardiogram and an ECG, ECG was normal and the doctor said I have a mild mitral valve prolapse but to not worry I could have a normal life and my Tachycardia was because of it. So many years I believed that and I started to learn how to control my Tachycardia I just hold my breath or blow my nose, it usually didn't take more than 10 minutes the episodes.
Around my 23rd Birthday I was running and I felt the Tachycardia starting to come but this time was a little bit different I felt a big Thud like a punch in the chest and started to beat fast (bump bump bump bump bump) I felt really weak and I had to stop, this episode lasted 45 minutes because I was running on the street and I couldn't lay down till I got home and controlled it there.
Again I went to the cardiologist and of course ECG is normal and he just told me to keep doing my tricks to control it.
I noticed I could feel more the symptoms as I was getting older, then again this episodes only happen like 5 times a year.
I moved to the UK 2 years ago and had the episodes maybe 4 times, I never checked with the doctors here until one day I went to the emergency room because one episode was giving me mild chest pain and I thought was a heart attack, fortunately it wasn't but they couldn't catch the Arrhythmia. They ordered an Holter monitor for 24 hours and a echocardiogram, the holster returned with everything normal I didn't have an episode that day but the echocardiogram came normal too with no Mitral valve prolapse or anything, so I was confused because all my life I thought I had my Tachycardia because MVP. Now I wonder what it is, could it be an SVT? I am getting anxious not knowing the reason, and now after my last attack I am feeling nervous like a doom feeling I worry everytime my heart pulse rise, I do have history from my father side my father had heart attack at age 49 but he survived, my grandfather died from cardiac arrest at 67 and my uncle died because artery clogged at age 28. Any opinion in the matter I would appreciate it.
